Makeup Forever Fall 2011 Smokey

MAKEUP FOREVER introduces Smoky Colour, a new collection of eye make up essentials inspired by the rich, jewel tone fabrics seen on the fall 2011 runways. This vibrant new take on an all-time classic provides a number of different ways to wear the eye catching look and adapt it to every mood, occasion and outfit.

The Smoky Colour collection includes a limited edition Smoky Eye Shadow Palette, four new shades of dramatic Smoky Lash mascara and three new ultra-creamy Khol Pencils — all in an array of bold, yet wearable colors.

NEW LIMITED EDITION SMOKY PALETTE
This customized, collector’s palette features eight MAKE UP FOR EVER Eye Shadows that can be used to create five different smoky looks in brown, blue, purple, green and classic black. Expert application instructions, as well as a mirror and two individual applicators, are included to help consumers achieve a professional smoky eye at home. MAKE UP FOR EVER’S highly pigmented pressed shadows contain nylon powder for intense, lasting color and are easily blended and shaded. The palette includes:

  • Eye Shadow #04 – matte black
  • Eye Shadow #79 – deep plum shimmer
  • Eye Shadow #81 – metallic navy blue
  • Eye Shadow #80 – iridescent peacock green
  • Eye Shadow #122 – metallic copper
  • Eye Shadow #127 – metallic taupe
  • Eye Shadow #126 – iridescent yellow beige
  • Eye Shadow #07 – white shimmer

NEW SMOKY LASH COLOUR
The ultimate mascara for volume, length and curl is now available in four new hues. Boasting the same lash boosting formula and unique elastomer fiber brush as the original best seller, Smoky Lash Colour delivers a dramatic faux lash effect in seconds. Each new shade is extremely concentrated with brown, green, blue and plum pigments so the mascara instantly coats the lashes with intense color.
  • Smoky Lash #3 – deep brown
  • Smoky Lash #4 – green
  • Smoky Lash #5 – dark blue
  • Smoky Lash #6 – plum
KHOL PENCIL
These soft, creamy pencils have an extremely blendable texture and are now available in pearly deep blue (#8K), matte mocha brown (#9K) and pearly black purple (#10K). Khol Pencils can be used to line the eyes for a more intense, striking look, and can easily be smudged for the perfect smoky eye. Additionally, the soft texture makes them ideal for rimming the inner eye. Apply above and/or below the lash line and blend to create a pigment-rich smoky eye.
  • Kohl Pencil #4K – intense pearly green
  • NEW Kohl Pencil #8K– pearly deep blue
  • NEW Kohl Pencil #9K– matte mocha brown
  • NEW Kohl Pencil #10K– pearly black purple

Also new for this summer from M.U.F.E, Lip Line Perfector.

New Lip Line Perfector is formulated with a mix of beeswax and evaporating oils that form a protective barrier to keep lipstick inside the lip line, as well as a film forming polymer which helps fix color to the lips for long lasting results. Additionally, Ceramide 3 improves lip firmness and prevents moisture loss, while silicone and high molecular hyaluronic salt fill in fine lines and improve elasticity.
The Lip Line Perfector can be worn as a base under any kind of lip product and with any shade.

I Forgot the Shoes From Alexander McQueen's Fall 2011 RTW

Seriously, I'm speechless...  You have to have mad skills to walk in these shoes...  Me? I trip wearing tennis shoes... Enough said.

Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 "Ice Queen and her Court"

Titled "The Ice Queen and her court”, McQueen's Creative Director Sarah Burton presented a couture collection. Burton's play between "hard" and "soft" was done mostly in black and white.  The stunning details were boutiful and included a skirt and top made from mosaic of broken bone plates fired together, fur lined hems, pleats formed with metal zippers that partially zip open, and a gown woven from strips of silk.  Burton's collection also included harnesses and leather made for bondage-like, tough-luxe pieces that served to counterbalance the more feminine look, notably the white gowns that closed out the show.

Chanel Fall/Winter 2011 - Illusions d'Ombre de Chanel

Of all the Fall/Winter 2011 collections launching next month, this one takes the cake for me.  I'm really excited to get my hands on this collection.  Chanel Illusions d'Ombre de Chanel, is set to release July 2011, however, my sources tells me that they may be launching even earlier!  For Fall/Winter 2011, Chanel seems to be taking the same pages as her cosmetic counter parts with the pale nude face, but takes it even further with her eye shadows.  Illusions d'Ombre is going towards a more dark smokey metallic look with the eyes, which works for Fashion Runway trends.  After all, a diva should stand apart from the others right?

I hope my eagerness doesn't get the best of me!  Check out more information on the collection at, http://www.chanel.com/.

Face - Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15, Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish Loose Powder, Eclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen, Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer

Eyes - Illusion d’Ombre in Epatant, Mirifique, and Fantasme (available July 2011), Le Crayon Yeux Precision Eye Definer in Khaki Platine (available July 2011), Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Ebene, Crayon Sourcils (available July 2011), and Inimitable Mascara in Noir

Bobbi Brown Fall 2011 Collection - Tortoise Shell

I'm starting to see a trend with these make-up lines for their fall collection.  So, why wouldn't we go simple and chic?  After all summer 2011 was all about making that bold statement and flashing those bright fun colors.  With the new season ahead of us, why not, put that all color behind us and enjoy beauty, through it's natural form.

I'm really excited to get my hands on Bobbi Brown's new collection.  The fall 2011 collection is all about the natural, warm, earth tones and metallic pallets.  The eight shadows limited edition sets are encased in a stylish tortoise shell compact, with two pallets, one for medium to darker skin tones and the second for lighter skin tones.  Both designed to allow you to apply layers of colors without bending!

The Tortoise Shell collection also includes, two Rich Lip Color SPF 12 in, soft nude and twig, three High Shimmer Lipgloss, in Bare Sparkle, Beach and Citrus, as well as a, limited edition Tortoise Shell Mini Brush Set!

Emma Watson Trades In Her Wand for Lancome?

What's a girl to do after Harry Potter? Get a complete make over of course... DUH...  Emma Watson appears on Vogue's July Cover, sporting a new look for Fall.  She is shown wearing, Lancome's La Laque Fever in Techno Brick (a shimmering gold-flecked brownish plum) topped with Juicy Tube in Pure (an ultra shiny gloss)

Sure, we've all seen this look from Spring 2011 runways of Louis Vuitton, Emanuel Ungaro and Givenchy, but this is EMMA WATSON!  BTW Emma, can I have your wand?
