Tracey Hughes Depiction Collection

Depiction reflects a style that symbolizes honesty, quality and refinement.  The collection epitomizes pure, clean, designs and represents a charming, timeless look amidst their futuristics illustration.  The flawless designs are complemented by a remix of energetic colors.  The juxtaposition of soft neutral tones and bold flashy tones excite the senses.  The rich diversity of blondes, brunettes, and redheads merge with feature shades of pastels allowing for eccentric variations.  With minimal styling of all white fashion featuring clean lines, cut outs and silhouette body shapes, this sanguine attire permits the hair to be the central focus.

Victoria Secret Luminous Mineral Blush Duo

While shopping with my friend Brandi and her sweet little kid sister, this past Sunday, we walked into the Victoria Secret Store.  I've never really thought twice about buying any make-up products from VS, but I figured why not?  It would probably be a good thing for me to be adventurous and try something new.

While checking out VS eyeshadows, I came across the Luminous Mineral Blush Duo. The Luminous Mineral Blush is a baked blush that features two contrasting shades of blush.  The product comes in four different shades.  The packaging seems a bit cheap to me, but the blush itself is an awesome product.  This probably wouldn't be a professional artist kit recommendation, but a great product for the girl on the go.

Check out the product and other stuff from VS at, www.victoriasecret.com

Charlie Price Romance Collection

NAHA Hairstylist of the Year Winner, Charlie Price wanted romance.  And he delivers.  In his latest collection of hairstyles, he juxtaposes texture and volume with soft, sleek strands.  Hair pulled back reveals a whirlwind of twists, and harsh shape gives way to beautiful cascades of long locks.  Much like romance itself, the hair in this collection is a combination of textures and volumes that work to create a perfect harmony.

"For these looks, I was going for a dreamy, romantic quality," Charlie says. "I also like the idea of each girl having over-the-top hair, but in a polished, beautiful way; the make-up was extra soft as well to support that notion."

We've also included a range of textures: everything from glitter to shimmer to matte. The chocolaty velvet case is emblazoned with the word "NAKED" in gold foil lettering. (Just wait 'til your friends see you pull this sexy thing out of your bag. Jealous!) The mirrored case also includes a professional quality, cruelty-free Good Karma Eyeshadow Brush, AND a travel-size Eyeshadow Primer Potion in original formula. TokiDoki Devil Girl Cromatico Summer 2011 Palette

Devil Girl Cromatico Palette by TokiDoki, released for Summer 2011, is currently available at Sephora.  The dual door palette in beach theme contains six TokiDoki Eyeshadows, ranging from neutrals to cool tones.

Thirsty (cream)
Riposino (shimmery light brown)
 Carina (pearl)
Nancy Rocks (purple)
Bruttino (pearl turquoise)
Bulleto (shimmery dark brown)
Aside from the cool artwork on the palette cover, I can honestly say, I'm not overly excited about this collection.  The palette casing seems a little bit on the cheap side and the pigments is really just ok.  I do like the fact that the palette offers three neutral shades, perfect for a day out on the beach.  I will say, Carina (pearl) is a fun shade to play with, whether you use it on your tear ducts or even on the brow bone for highlights, you'll definitely get that shimmering sparkle look, just be careful not to over pack the color, it can get messy.

Oh yeah, you also get a Devil Girl keychain too.. Whoopee...

Beauty Shoot with MU Artist Jennifer Siqueiros & Photographer Xue Vue

Yesterday, I had a awesome opportunity to style hair for, Make-up Artist, Jennifer Siqueiros's Beauty Portfolio, photographed by another personal friend Xue Vue.  What probably started off as a rough morning, not having a good healthy amount of Red Bull, ended up with a chance to work with good friends, and new Artist and Models, I haven't gotten the opportunity to work with.  Jennifer Siqueiros, studied make-up application at Smashbox Academy.  I have gotten a chance to view her portfolio prior to working with her, and I must say, I was really impressed!

The shoot took place at the Home/Studio of, Jay Lensch (another well established photographer in Sacramento, CA).  Haven't gotten the chance to open my can of Red Bull, I was introduced to the Jennifer Siqueiros for the first time, and from there we both started working on the beautiful models ( Tanya Fomina, Allison Nopel and Brooke Parker) casted for the shoot.  The day ended with lots of laugh and meeting such beautiful and lively people!  I will be posting photo's soon...

OPI - Texas Collection

Ok, so this collection kinda came out earlier this year, but I really wanted to review this.  Since the launch of OPI's Texas Collection, I wasn't really sure about it, the colors didn't really moved me much. Given the dull boring color palettes for this collection, I did find the names for the colors really humorous...  Seriously, who comes up with this stuff?  I have my fair share of nail lacquer collections, this just isn't one... Sorry...

I Forgot the Shoes From Alexander McQueen's Fall 2011 RTW

Seriously, I'm speechless...  You have to have mad skills to walk in these shoes...  Me? I trip wearing tennis shoes... Enough said.

Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 "Ice Queen and her Court"

Titled "The Ice Queen and her court”, McQueen's Creative Director Sarah Burton presented a couture collection. Burton's play between "hard" and "soft" was done mostly in black and white.  The stunning details were boutiful and included a skirt and top made from mosaic of broken bone plates fired together, fur lined hems, pleats formed with metal zippers that partially zip open, and a gown woven from strips of silk.  Burton's collection also included harnesses and leather made for bondage-like, tough-luxe pieces that served to counterbalance the more feminine look, notably the white gowns that closed out the show.
